Benefits:
Myofascial Release
Loosen hypertense muscles
Increase blood and lymph flow
Cupping therapy has been used in many cultures all over the world for thousands of years to treat tight muscles and to increase blood and lymph flow, as well as other applications. I use cupping therapy in my sessions in combination with deep tissue and myofascial release techniques to address the goals of each session. Cupping therapy can sometimes leave red marks or circles that can last up to a few weeks, which is normal and they are usually not painful. A few major contraindications where cupping wouldn’t be a good fit is if you’re on blood thinners, or if you bruise easily, or if you have any type of organ stress or failure.
