1/24/26 Saturday: Essentials of Deep Tissue 8CE

  • Moses Lake, WA Sage Academy of Massage

  • 8CE

This class will focus on techniques not only to achieve results with your clients, but to also improve longevity in your career by addressing body mechanics, treatment philosophy, and the use of tools. I will share some fundamental techniques that I use everyday with my clients, that you can incorporate into your own toolbox and flow. These will cover key areas in the body that are common areas of restriction that can make a big impact when released. This class is geared toward new graduates and intermediate therapists, who are feeling the challenge of deep tissue in their own body and need some inspiration on how to work better for both yourself and your clients.

2/20/26 Friday: Medical Massage Essentials Shoulder Complex

  • Spokane, WA Therapeutic Connections School of Massage

  • 8CE

For this class we will do a deep dive into the shoulder complex anatomy and structure, as well as how it relates and is affected by the whole body. The techniques I’ve chosen for this class are a mixture of bread and butter moves and advanced techniques. They will address specific muscles and soft tissues that are often overlooked when treating the shoulder. We will also discuss treatment philosophies on various common injuries and conditions of the shoulder. I break the shoulder complex up into working zones, to both simplify and provide flow to your treatments. We will go over techniques to cover 360 degrees around the glenohumeral joint as well as the scapula, clavicle, and ribs. Overall, my goal for this class is to provide you with a holistic and integrated approach to treating the shoulder, as well as valuable and effective techniques that you can add to your everyday tool kit.
